it was located OK, staff was friendly, for the price the room itself was clean and OK but not more then OK either. Really nice to be able to rent a bike or scooter from the hotel itself and getting a good explaniation from the staff to.
bathroom was a dissapointment. it was actually a toilet where a shower had been installed, showering was wettening everything in there. The bed was really hard to sleep on.

Really Nice Staff, really friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Was a reasonably central location.
Although central the hotel is off the main city centre/restaurant area around the market at the river crossing. You can walk it however in reality in ayutthaya you must get tuk tuks most places, especially at night as there are many stray dogs everywhere in the City (some a bit aggressive). Tuk tuks are cheap however.

It has good location if you want to do sightseeing.
didn't like our bathroom and we booked taxi to the bus station at our reception but nobody ever showed up in the morning to pick us up so we had to find taxi on the street, bit of stress...

Young man who seemed to be running the place was helpful and spoje clear English. The wifi was free (which should be standard these days) and there was night time security outside the hotel - unusual for a small budget place. If you are in the unfortunate position of needing an overnight stay in Ayutthaya this is a decent budget option if the mattress (described next section)is to your taste. The room was of a decent size with aircon and fridge.I would reccommend the place if it wasnt for the uncomfortable bed.
The mattress though new was truly uncomfortable - unsprung , hard and with a thick waterproof plastic outer that made for a sweaty restless night - Having driven for 10 hrs the previous day I should have slept like a baby - I felt worse in the morning than when I arived.Harsh comment but true. There are very limited options to eat in the town and the restaurant recommended by the hotel staff was poor and wildly overpriced for by Thai standards and seemed to rely on elderly Japenese tour groups.Ayutthaya has very little to offer for the tourist unless you have a serious interest in history ( the ruins are un impressive to the sight-seer) and the floating market which stands in for a tourist attraction is completely conrived and tacky. )

Than at the reception desk was very helpful and spoke great english. you can rent bikes and scooters right there. the noodle place right across the street is amazing. real close to the night market and temples in the park. ask Than to hire you a tuk-tuk to take you to all the other temples. he hired us one and it was very clean and the driver was friendly.
The only issue there was our room was in the back corner upstairs and the internet signal was very weak if any at all.

Friendly staff was very helpful in giving touristing advice. I liked the availability of free bicycles to use.
I got a back ache from the bed. I guess the mattress wasn't suited to me.

It was nice from the guy at the reception, that he explained us and another couple, where we can find all the sightseeing spots and how to get there. But not just the receptionist were friendly, also the rest of the staff was always helpful and were smiling every time we saw them. The biggest plus of the hotel is, that we could rent bicycles for free and explore the town for free and environmentally friendly. We also liked that the place is so close to the Night Markets (just 300m), where we got our cheap dinner every night. The room was spacious and had a nice view from the 4th floor. The furniture also included a big fridge, a desk and a couch. They gave us towels, shampoo and soap. Everyday we got water bottles. In the room we had a great reception of the WiFi, so we could use the internet while enjoying the air condition. Another good thing is, that they take care of your luggage on the day of arrival and departure.
Unfortunately they don’t have a lift, so the guy from the reception send the female colleagues to bring our suit cases (each 20kg) up to the 4th floor and down again the next time, which I think, he should have done – come on he’s the man. The door of our room was not opening properly, so we always had to push it hard to get in. And it’s annoying, that there is no extra shower cabin and not even a curtain, so every time one of us went for a shower, afterwards the whole bathroom was wet, so the floor was slippery and dangerous. Plus the toilet was leaking. And the bathroom also didn’t offer any shelf, where we could have left something.

Very helpful reception staff - gave us a map on arrival and a good overview of the sights. Room very clean, nice en suite. Towels and water provided and replenished when needed. Very close to night market - good for dinner. Great to have a fridge in the room.
